Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Pricing for single, triple and quad occupancy is available. A refundable deposit of $100 per person is due upon reservation. Cancellation insurance is available at final payment. Balance is due by July 12, 2024 and trip becomes nonrefundable at that time. After July 12, 2024, space is based on availability. Day One - Friday, August 23, 2024

Morning: Board in Clifton Park at the Home Depot located at 4 Halfmoon Crossing at 7:30 am. Board coach in Queensbury at AAA Northway’s Office located at 345 Bay Road at 8:15 am. Afternoon: A lunch stop will be made at a local restaurant in route for dining on your own. Arrive in northern NH and visit Fadden’s General Store an authentic, old fashioned general store, family-owned since 1896! Visit the maple sugar house and gift shop for the area's largest selection of maple syrup and maple sugar products. Dinner aboard the Café Lafayette Dinner Train. Escape the ordinary and relive the romance of dining on the rails in one of three beautifully restored Pullman dining cars. Relax and enjoy five courses of fine food and entertainment served to you in the grand European manner. Evening: Check into your hotel, the Mountain Club on Loon for a three night stay.

 

Day Two - Saturday, August 24, 2024

Morning: Breakfast buffet at your hotel. Guided tour along New Hampshire's scenic Kancamagus Highway. This 34.5 mile scenic drive in Northern New Hampshire offers some of the best scenic views in all of New England. Ride Conway Scenic Railway’s Mountaineer Train. Take in the dramatic natural scenery as you travel through spectacular Crawford Notch – past sheer bluffs, steep ravines, cascading brooks and streams, panoramic mountain vistas, across Frankenstein Trestle and Willey Brook Bridge – enroute to Crawford and Fabyan Stations. A boxed lunch is included on the train. Afternoon: Take a ride on the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway. The eighty-passenger aerial tram whisks you above the timberline. You will travel to 4,200 feet and arrive at the summit for spectacular views of the White Mountains and into the state of Maine, Vermont and even Canada! Evening: Enjoy an inclusive dinner this evening at the hotel or local restaurant.

Day Three - Sunday, August 25, 2024

Morning: Breakfast buffet at your hotel. Visit the Rock’s Estate for a Maple Experience. Afternoon: Arrive at the Cog Railway’s historic train station and enjoy a boxed lunch as you wait to partake in one of New England’s finest train experiences. Enjoy a scenic three hour train ride on the World’s first mountain climbing Cog Railway to the summit of Mount Washington, the Northeast's Highest Peak!  While at the summit visit the Mt Washington Observatory's Weather Museum and 1853 Tip Top House. We recommend you bring a camera and an extra jacket or sweater, as it can get rather chilly at the mountain top. Evening: Evening on your own. Just relax and enjoy the scenic mountain views or partake in some of the resort’s activities including gondola rides up Loom Mountain and an outdoor adventure course (fees apply). Dinner this evening is on your own at the hotel’s Seasons on Loon Restaurant.

Day Four - Monday, August 26, 2024

Morning: Breakfast buffet at your hotel, prior to check out. Baggage handling is included. Enjoy a scenic round trip Buffet Luncheon Cruise on Lake Winnipesauke (one of the largest lakes enclosed in one state), aboard the 230’ M/S Mount Washington. Your journey brings you to the port of Wolfeboro, the Oldest Summer Resort in America and back. Afternoon: After your luncheon cruise, enjoy a stop at Kellerhaus Candies in Laconia, where a sweet taste of NH awaits at the state’s oldest ice cream and candy maker. Depart for home at 2:00 pm. A dinner/rest stop will be made in route. Evening: Arrival in Queensbury at 6:30 pm and Clifton Park at 7:15 pm.
