Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Pricing for single, triple and quad occupancy is available. A deposit of $100 per person is due upon reservation and is refundable up to final payment. Cancellation insurance is available at final payment. Balance is due by July 10, 2024 and trip becomes nonrefundable at that time. After July 10, 2024, space is based on availability. Morning: Boarding in Clifton Park at the Home Depot at 7:00 am, Queensbury’s AAA Office at 7:45 am and Plattsburgh’s AAA Office at 9:45 am. Afternoon: Upon arrival, enjoy free time for lunch on your own in historic Old Montreal. Enjoy a three hour guided Montréal city tour. Your Montreal guide will introduce you to many of Montréal's best attractions and sites including Place Ville-Marie (where the Underground city began), Old Montréal's famed Notre Dame Cathedral and view the Olympic Stadium, Mount Royal and St. Joseph’s Shrine. Evening: Enjoy dinner at Vieux-Port Steakhouse. Your choice: (1) Grilled New York Steak, (2) Grilled Chicken Breast or 3) Pasta Primavera served with potato, vegetable, coffee, tea and dessert. After dinner, board coach and check into the Le Westin Montréal, located at 270 Saint-Antoine Ouest in the very heart of Old Montreal for a two-night stay. This hotel is steps away from the vibrant Entertainment District and walking distance to trendy restaurants, shopping, museums, Sherbrooke Street and Mount Royal. The remainder of the evening is at leisure on your own. Consider an evening stroll for a modern twist on a history lesson through the unique historic outdoor performances of Cité Mémoire, a modern light installation of short films shown on the exteriors of the historic buildings throughout Old Montréal.
Morning: Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a free day to explore Montréal at leisure. The choices are endless. Stroll along the Vieux-Port (Old Port), take a tour of the Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall), dine at sidewalk café, shop the array of boutique shops and galleries and maybe take in one of Montréal's finest attractions such as the Montreal Botanical Gardens, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, to name just a few. Evening: Enjoy an evening on your own to explore the vibrant nightlife of Montréal for dining, shopping and sightseeing. Optionally, at the hotel is the gaZette Restaurant, with an extensive selection of farm-to-table dining options showcasing French-Canadian cuisine if you choose to dine in.
Morning: Breakfast at your hotel, prior to check out. Board the coach and depart for a visit to Chateau Ramezay Historic Site and Museum. Here you can relive more than 500 years of Montreal history through its numerous exhibits, its multimedia portrayals of historical figures and its French colonial style garden. After the tour, stroll down to Place Jacque Cartier and enjoy free time for lunch on own. Afternoon: Board coach and visit Montreal’s newly renovated state of the art attraction, the Biodome at Olympic Park for an immersive, multi-sensory journey through the varied ecosystems of the Americas. Here, you can see tropical creatures in a rainforest, marvel at underwater creatures and marine life, spot a lynx or beaver in a Laurentian maple forest, and say hello to adorable penguins in the cool arctic. Board coach at 3:30 pm and depart for home. Visit Canada’s Duty Free Shop, prior to border crossing. Evening: Arrival back at AAA Northway’s Plattsburgh Office at 6:00 pm. A dinner stop will be made in Plattsburgh for our Queensbury and Clifton Park passengers. Arrival back at AAA Northway’s Queensbury Office at 8:15 pm and the Home Depot in Clifton Park at 9:00 pm.
