In Alexandria Bay, enjoy a luncheon cruise along 22 visually stunning miles through American and Canadian waters of the St. Lawrence River (no passport needed). Hear its storied past and view its magnificent Gilded Age summer homes and many other landmarks dotting its shores. Your cruise includes a self-guided visit to Boldt Castle, the sprawling stone mansion built in 1900 by Waldorf-Astoria Hotel owner George C. Boldt. Visit Clayton and its Antique Boat Museum, North America’s premiere freshwater boating museum. Enjoy a scenic Rock Island Lighthouse Nature Cruise with lunch (only accessible by boat) aboard a glass bottomed boat and enjoy unparalleled underwater views including two 19th century shipwrecks. Learn about the river’s fish, birds and landscapes, and what’s being done to protect and preserve them. Climb the lighthouse steps for a bird's eye view from the lantern room.
