Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Pricing for single, triple and quad occupancy is available. A refundable deposit of $100 per person is due upon reservation. Cancellation insurance is available at final payment. Balance is due by July 29, 2024 and trip becomes nonrefundable at that time. After July 29, 2024, space is based on availability. Day One - Thursday, September 12, 2024

Morning: Board coach in Clifton Park at the Home Depot located at 4 Halfmoon Crossing at 6:30 AMor in Vestal at AAA Northway located at 3701 Vestal Parkway East at 9:15 AM. A morning rest stop will be made in route to Lancaster, PA. Afternoon: Visit the historic small town Lititz for shopping and lunch on your own. Stroll an oasis of creative shops, intimate cafes, pastry shops, deli's and two old-time soda fountain shops. Be sure to follow the wonderful scent of chocolate to Wilbur Chocolate while in town. Check into the Fulton Steamboat Inn for a two night stay. Lovely Victorian themed décor and gracious hospitality await you at this unique property, shaped like a riverboat and named for Robert Fulton, founder of steam propelled riverboats, who was born in Lancaster. Meet your Lancaster guide and depart for Lititz and some down home fun at Elva’s Barnyard Studio for Chalk Talk. Enjoy a presentation reviving the old art of chalktalk, a fun, motivational and inspiring event you'll never forget. Complete with colored lights and ultra violet black light show which creates beautiful effects on the artwork. Evening: Enjoy a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch style welcome dinner at Shady Maple Smorgasbord. After dinner stroll their 41,000-square-foot gift shop filled with unique gift items including collectibles, candles and Amish-crafted furniture.

 

Day Two - Friday, September 13, 2024

Morning: Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a guided Amish Farmlands Tour to enjoy the picturesque scenery as you meander across country roads where time seems to stand still and learn the story behind everything Amish and stop at Eli’s Amish owned and operated roadside stand for a hand-made pretzel and enjoy home-made birch beer, lemonade or root beer. Afternoon: Enjoy lunch on own at the Casey Jones Restaurant. Dine in style in an authentic 1920's era Pennsylvania Railroad Dining Car. Surrounded by thousands of acres of gorgeous Amish countryside, overlooking the neighboring Strasburg Rail Road. Visit Sight & Sound Theatre for the brand-new original stage production of “Daniel”. Watch one of the Bible’s most hope-filled stories as it comes to life. From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience for the whole family. Evening: A “Down on the Farm” Amish Dinner awaits. Enjoy an authentic PA Dutch Family Style dinner prepared by an Amish family and served on their farm. 

Day Three - Saturday, September 14, 2024

Morning: Breakfast at your hotel, prior to check out. A truly unique country shopping experience awaits at the Bird-in-Hand Farmer’s Market with a wide variety of homemade baked goods, bulk foods, specialty teas and coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables, preserves, meats and cheeses, fudge and candy. There are handmade quilts, leather goods, wooden toys and beautiful silk flower arrangements. Watch funnel cakes, soft pretzels and fudge being made. Don’t forget to grab yourself a snack for the train ride! Enjoy viewing the beautiful Lancaster County countryside aboard the Strasburg Railroad. All aboard! Travel through Pennsylvania Dutch Country as an authentic steam locomotive pulls you past working farms, their Amish neighbors, and beauty as far as the eye can see. Afternoon: Visit Kitchen Kettle Village for an authentic Pennsylvania Dutch experience. Enjoy lunch and shopping on your own at the 42 stores and restaurants built around the namesake Jam and Relish Kitchen. Savor Penn Dutch samples, watch fudge being made and shop for unique wares including hand carved signs, hand made quilts, leather goods and so much more. Board coach at 2:30 pm and depart for home. A dinner/rest stop will be made in route. Evening: Arrival back in Vestal at 6:30 pm and Clifton Park at 9:15 pm.
